Dr Byoungduk Sohn, DPhil (Oxon), M.S.W, M.Div.
Dr.
Byoungduk Sohn is Department Director and Assistant Professor of the Department
of Social Work, Chongshin University, and has served as a trustee member
of Woori Welfare Foundation and Korean-American Youth Alliance in Korea. He
is also advisor to the Social Work Council, Dongjak County, Dong-jak Welfare
Foundation, and Korean Economy Planning Research Foundation. He is a regular
peer reviewer for social science journals.
Recent grants have come from the Ministry of Health and Welfare, Dong-jak
Welfare Foundation, Church Growth Research Centre. His research interests
include parenting environments, various short-term effects during childhood
and adolescence, and long-term socio-emotional and behavioural outcomes.
