Dr Jane Barlow, MFPHM, D.Phil, MSc (Oxon), BA (Hons) Dip EBHC

Jane Barlow joined Warwick University Medical School  in 2004 from the Health Services Research Unit, Department of Public Health, University of Oxford, following five years as a Primary Care Career Scientist.  She is a medical sociologist and the focus of her research to date has been the evaluation of interventions such as parenting and home visiting programmes, which are aimed at improving outcomes for both parents and children.  She has a particular interest in population-based interventions, in addition to programmes directed at vulnerable or high-risk populations.  Her research involves a range of both quantitative and qualitative methodologies including RCTs, systematic reviews, in-depth interviews and secondary data analysis.
