Family Policy Briefing Paper 6 Published

The Oxford Centre for Family Law and Policy has published Family Policy Briefing paper 6 "The Media and Family Courts - key information and questions about the Children, Schools and Families Bill" by Robert H George and Ceridwen Roberts. 

The Children, Schools and Families Bill currently before Parliament contains new provisions about media access to family courts, and rules governing the information that can be published.

Family Policy Briefing paper 6, funded by the Nuffield Foundation, looks at the implications of these new proposals, which will allow the media an unprecedented level of freedom to report on cases before the family court.
